Christmas 2014
Yesterday I discussed all the events I have participated in as I prepared for Christmas 2014.  Well I overlooked two wonderful events.

12 December 2014:  My Bride and I attended the Rough Wood & Rusty Nails program at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Warner Robins.  It was a production of 13 scenes telling the complete Christmas Story through the eyes of Joseph.  I did not count the cast members but I am confident that there were over thirty participants.  Truly a wonderful evening.

18 December 2014:  I attended the Third Thursday Organ Interlude at Saint Joseph Catholic Church here in Macon.  The program consisted of Christmas Music performed on the magnificent Pipe Organ with Nelda Chapman as the Organist.  Soprano Barbara Martinez also performed several Songs.  A wonderful noon time break.  Very refreshing to hear great Christmas Music and to also enjoy a delightful lunch in the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Christmas 2014

Ready for Christmas!!  Today, December 22, 2014 I can certainly state that I am ready for Christmas.  The stockings are hung by the Chimney, the decorations are all in place.

Decoration started on 29 November 2014 when I decorated the signs in the Sub-Division where I live here in Macon-Bibb.

On 7 December I attended the Music and Arts at Vineville.  The Georgia Boy Choir performed and their Concert was most impressive.

On 11 December My Bride and I attended the presentation of the Nutcracker at the Grand Opera House here in Macon.  This was a wonderful evening and we enjoyed the performance.

On 13 December I attended the Wreaths Across America at Macon's Historic Riverside Cemetery.  Here you see a Webelos Cub Scout place a Wreath at the Marker of a Navy Veteran.
On December 17th My Bride and I visited the Georgia Governor's Mansion to view the Wonderful Christmas Decorations placed their by Volunteers.  The theme for the 2014 Christmas Decor was "With a Servant's Heart."

Which brings us to the reason for the Season.  The celebration of the Birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  We have enjoyed and appreciated this Nativity Scene for over 25 years.  It was a gift from My Sainted parents!

Merry Christmas
The Interior of Our Home Has Now
Been Decorated for Christmas 2014

Please enjoy the photo tour of our home.  There will be no explanations for each picture!!!   Special objects will of course be highlighted with a comment.
My Parents gave this to My Bride and I over 25 years ago.  We have used it every year!!

Nutcrackers have become a new collectible for us!

Paddington Bear is a new addition this year.  He does quite well with his performances!!

We also have to decorate a real tree!!

This is the Nativity Scene that I acquired for Christmas 1971 when I first came to Macon for Navy Recruiting Duty.  I was a Single Sailor residing in a Mobile Home in Jones County.  I desired a Nativity Scene and I acquired this one at a Craft Shop in Shurlington Plaza in East Macon!

My Bride and I take this opportunity to Wish You a Very Blessed Christmas and a Wonderful 2015.  We hope that you enjoyed the pictures of the decor at our Home.  Of course this collection of decorations has been acquired over the period of some forty four years.
