Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

I arrived early to take the first two pictures prior to the Standing Room Only crowd that attended this event. The rest of the pictures were taken as the Ceremony was conducted.  The Center is named for Macon-Bibb Commissioner, Elaine H. Lucas who spoke of the Community Wide involvement in the design and construction this facility.  The pictures at the end of this Post display the many activity rooms that are in this Senior Center.  We can all certainly be very proud of this Center.  I know that I was very impressed!!

 Garden Clubs and Garden Club Members decorated the tables for this event.  Over 150 people participated in this Luncheon!

This table was selected as the best table décor.

A raffle was conducted and these are a few of the

items that were available.

Mary Pinson presented a very informative program on how

to create "Holiday Glamour" in our own homes.

This arrangement which greeted all attendees was done by Kay King

using flowers donated by Davis Wholesale in Macon
