During the 2019 Time Frame I was a Volunteer Photographer for these flights when they departed the Airport and again when they returned.  On 12 March I arrived at the Airport to take the pictures.  I was informed that they had several cancellations and was asked if I would like to participate in this Flight.  It did not take me long to say "Yes."  I was on the waiting list, but this opportunity allowed me the chance to go and not have to alter any plans I may have at a later date when My turn would come up.

Following are pictures from this Trip.  As we traveled around Washington, D. C. in a Motor Coach we were informed that Our Group was the first Honor Flight for 2022.  

Each Veteran/Hero had a Guardian.  Additionally we had a wheelchair

to eliminate falls, etc.  For the Changing of the Guard this was essential

because it allowed to get very close!

Greetings Most Honorable Duly Elected Leaders,

 

The United States of America is Strong because of the People.  That is what I gleaned from the State of the Union the other evening.  As I commenced the composing of this letter to you I thought of our Former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice.  She was recently asked during an Electronic Media Interview concerning the Putin invasion of Ukraine what kept her awake at night.  Her one word response was “America!”  So brief, but so poignant!!  If you are not focused on the United States of America we are looking at a tragic future!!

 

In my view your collective actions as you support our Commander in Chief, that is You Mr. President,  are questionable.  This summary of the “Great Give Away” along with the tragic loss of 13 lives of our Heroes back in August of 2021  which I addressed in an earlier letter should certainly cause great concern about the future of our United States of America.  I suspect that you understand that the World Leaders are looking at what I call “The Timid” actions of our Country and our current Leadership involvement as a Leader of the Free World.  If our potential enemies consider us as weak or even timid there is not much of a future for each of us.  That means You and I and all of our fellow citizens.  I am confident that each of you are keenly aware of the Leadership model that the President of Ukraine is currently showing the entire World.

 Thanks to the Government Accountability Office, there’s now a clear picture of how much U.S. military equipment fell into the Taliban’s hands during hasty pullout from Afghanistan ordered by Pres. Joe Biden, as follows -
Aircraft: The Taliban now has 208 planes and helicopters -

110 helicopters
60 transport/cargo planes
20 light attack planes
18 intelligence/surveillance planes
Vehicles: Numerous Humvees included in total of 75,898 vehicles -

42,604 tactical vehicles
22,174 Humvees
8,998 medium tactical vehicles
1,005 recovery vehicles
928 mine-resistant vehicles
189 armored tanks
Weapons: 

 

599,690 weapons were left to the Taliban -

Also, there were over two thousand night-vision goggles, surveillance drones, and communication devices.

From My point of view, the “Great Give Away” summarized above was certainly not in the best interest of the United States of America.

 

During the recent State of the Union I heard about how vital our U. S. Military is.  This is understood by Myself and Thousands of Georgia Citizens as well as Freedom Loving Citizens in our entire Country.  Here is a summary of what our Military means to Georgia, U. S. A.

A Summary of the economic impact of the 8 larger Facilities

 

Please Note that that the information below is what I was able to acquire from the respective Web-Sites of these Facilities.  There is no standard format required so I am presenting what I learned.

 

Warner Robins Airforce Base – Warner Robins.  2019 information.  Workforce 23,968 of which 14,821 are civilians, 6,188 are Military and 2,958 Other employees – most likely Contractors.  The 2019 Economic Impact was reported as 3.38 Billion.

 

Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Air Base near Savannah.  21,818 Active Duty.  Army 18,429.  Reserve Members 593.  Students 127 and 478 Other Services.  DOD Civilians – 4,983. 1,143 Military Family Members.  28,739 Retirees and Family Members 45,454.  Total:  121,763.

 

King’s Bay Submarine Base near St. Mary’s.  Because of Security Concerns the only population data available was from the 2010 Census.  A total population of the Military Community was reported as 50,513.

 

Moody Air Force Base near Valdosta.  The only data I found was the On Base Population was listed as 886.

 

Dobbins Air Force Reserve  Base near Atlanta.  2500 Air Force Reservist and more than 2000 Navy/Marine/Navy Reservist.  This does not include Family Members or Military Contractors.

 

Fort Gordon Army Base near Augusta.  Of special note at least 5,000 Military who serve at the Cyber Security Headquarters which was established in 2014.  30,000 Military and Civilian Employees.  Estimated Economic Impact 1.1 Billion.

 

Fort Benning Army Base/Training Command near Columbus.  120.000 Active Duty, Family Members, Reservist, Retirees and Civilian Employes.

 

Marine Corps Logistics, Albany.  1000 Military and 3000 Dod Civilian personnel and Contractors.

 

Additionally I learned from the Veteran’s Administration (VA) Web-Site that there are 697,127 Veterans living in Georgia which is 8.98% of the Georgia population.  Of these over 88,000 are Female Veterans.  This data was as of September 30, 2017.

I am confident that as you review the above list you will realize that many of these facilities are in Georgia because of the involvement of the Honorable Carl Vinson who served in the House of Representatives many years ago.  In fact His service had such a National impact that we have in Our U. S. Navy an Aircraft Carrier that bears His Name. 

 

I also did appreciate the State of the Union Address from the standpoint of the “Burn Pit” issue which was addressed.  I also appreciate that our U. S. Congress is correctly doing something about this issue.  Certainly a problem that many were aware of, but now a hot button issue. 

 

As I conclude this Letter I am not impressed with the fact that “Climate Change” is now an issue.  Is it on your agenda to focus on this as a means of earning votes this November?

 

I do recall simply because I have been on this Planet for some time about the “Upcoming Ice Age Scare” that garnered attention in the late 1960s and the 1970s.  I am sure that you all realize that this did not happen. 

 

Just as some of our current elected leaders used the Covid 19 Pandemic during the last election cycle are you now preparing to implement or continue some of the potential schemes that may have contributed to potential/alleged election fraud in the 2020 election cycle

 

I think it would be a shame if Covid 19 Crisis and Climate Change Concerns could be the genesis of altering the “Rules and Regulations” pertaining to our Elections this November 2022.   Tale this opportunity to remind each of you that elections in our U. S. A. have faced many challenges in our past History.  You and I know that Legal U. S. Citizens respect our Election System and it does not need to be altered to allow illegals to vote.  I also know that our systems of government was established on the fact that One Citizen is One Vote!  No more, No Less!

 

I look forward to your continued Leadership that You. Your Family, and all of our fellow Citizens can be very proud of.

 

Just as I did in the first paragraph of this letter to You when I cited a Former Secretary of State and her Leadership example I will close with another individual, not a Citizen of the U. S. A. but the “Queen Mum” a Leader by the example she displayed during her life with emphasis on World War Two.  She did not run and hide during the Blitzkrieg of London.  She remained in London and was continually with the fellow citizens of Britain. The attached is a copy of the print that I recently purchased.  The Event displayed on this print shows her arrival of Saint Paul’s in London when the entire British Empire remembered U. S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower during a Memorial service held on 14 April 1969 just a few months after his death.  Dwight David Eisenhower was the Commanding General for the conduct of “Operation Overlord” which is also called “D-Day.”  I was a part of the U. S. Honor Guard across the steps from the British Military!  The “Queen Mum” was either looking at Me or one of My Fellow Shipmates”  At that time we were all Sailors assigned to the Staff of U. S. Naval Forces, Europe located at 7 North Audley Street, London W. 1.

Greetings Most Honorable Duly Elected Leaders,

 

Wishing You all Well as We here in the U.S.A. Observe and Also Celebrate President’s Day 2022.  As I awoke this morning I thought of one of our Past Leaders and what He accomplished for us all.  I know that you each are familiar with this document, however I am under the impression that we all could Serve our Country better if we actually adhered to the principles President Lincoln so eloquently stated in this “Address:”

As You each know, the upcoming mid-term elections are approaching!!!  The candidate seeking reelection as Georgia’s Junior Senator is heard and viewed during Electronic Media Commercials reminding us that He is a Pastor and is seeking a full term as a Georgia Senator to insure that each of us receives excellent representation at a National level.  I find this statement so totally incorrect.  As a member of the Democrat Party he is like the rest of you supporting abortion rights!  This as you know is contrary to our God’s Law and for a Pastor to be a party to this position is aiding and abetting Satan.  To me abortion is killing a baby.  A concept that God supports!

Today I write to inform You, My duly elected leaders concerning the situation of a Medical Establishment that has not performed as they told me.  I have re-submitted My request for a payment to Medicare for $100.00 when I was told some months ago during a phone call that they – Your doctor’s Immediate Care would handle the problem. 

 

The situation is well explained in the enclosed letter to Medicare.  This is not the type of treatment any citizen of our Great U.S.A. must tolerate!  For the Medical firm/s listed as the last two addees, please be aware that I am concerned enough to let our duly elected leaders know of what is actually happening.  Thank You!

I am remailing the attached which is a copy of the request I mailed on 2-23-21 which requested a payment of $100.00 for a charge I incurred on 12-12-2020 and paid by My Visa Card on 12-14-2020 as indicated on the documents submitted to support my request.

 

The Test which resulted in a “Positive” for Covid-19 had to be paid for by me. 

 

After this test I was informed I could submit a request for reimbursement which was done on 2-23-21.  This request was not complete and when I attempted to obtain the additional information required from “Your Doctors Immediate Care at 2410 Ingleside Avenue, Macon, Georgia  31204 Phone (478) 845-7462 a “Clerk” and/or “Technician” there informed me that “THEY” were REQUESTING payments for all the Patients who had previously paid for their test during the early months of COVID testing by Your Doctors Immediate Care. 

 

Unfortunately the word were only received during a phone call were not true.  The aforementioned organization did not produce any payments for me.

 

Now you know why this is a late request.

 

I hope you can now pay me the $100.00 I spend back in December 2020 to learn of my COVID-19 Status.

 

Please note that I have re-signed the request on page 3 and dated it 29 November 2021.

Recently, within the past week, My Bride and I were shocked when a check payable to her was received that was for $35.00.  Yes our Federal Government, the organization you all so ably serve, is functioned at the 35 percent level.  I guess we should not have been shocked when we often learn via the Electronic Media that our Leaders are functioning at the 35 percent level and in some cases below that level.  At least that is the confidence level that My fellow citizens assign to your current performance.

 

This morning I also heard a commentary that our President and Vice President are actually leading from behind as regards the Crisis regarding Russia and Ukraine.  I share this reminder with you all which was so perfectly displayed by the Sailors of the USS Ranger, a carrier that I was fortunate to serve in:

 

 

This message conveyed by our U. S. Navy Sailors many years ago on the deck of an attack carrier is not the message our Commander in Chief and His Staff displayed during the August 2021 escape from Afghanistan!  This event from our recent history displayed for all current and potential future enemies that we are not now beholden to the tried and true concepts that eliminated the “Cold War” of the last Century.  I think and also know that if we continue on the current strategy that we will very soon be a third or worse level leader in the World.  You and I know that at this time our influence has decreased because of the Leadership that other Countries Leaders have observed from our Leaders by their actions and words.  In summary to this situation, Actions Speak Louder than Words!  In this regard placing sanctions on Russia after  they invade the Ukraine is very much like trying to place a bridle on a horse after it has escaped the barn.  Too little to late is not a concept that will garner respect for the USA from any World Leader.

Greetings Most Honorable Duly Elected Leaders,

 

Today I send My Second Letter of 2022 to My Duly Elected Leaders.  Those of You who are younger might well do all the citizens of the USA a favor be insuring that the top Three, The President, The Speaker of the House and the Majority Leader of the Senate are taking advantage of the marvels of the Medical Profession.  Specifically the producers of Prevagen which is promoted by very frequent commercials during prime time on the Television programs I view!   This drug has the following information on the world wide web and I quote here: “Prevagen may be a good product for mild problems, particularly ones due to aging. It may be suitable for adults who want to improve short-term memory overall brain health.”  Of course some of my peers may possibly feel that Our Top Three Leaders may have more severe memory problems.  I will defer their concerns to them.  If they feel so strong about memory problems they may possibly communicate directly. 

 

Today I also take this opportunity to commend each of your for your concern about the Heroes who are Serving in our Military and those who have served.  I recently received a letter from Steven L. Lieberman, M. D. Deputy Under Secretary for Health in the Department of Veterans Affairs dated 30 December 2021 expressing concerns about Suicidal Thoughts within our Community.  He pointed out the Toll Free Number and also an abundance of resources for those of us who may be suffering.  His compassionate letter made it clear that the VA wants to insure that we are getting the Health Care we need including our Mental Health!  As a Veteran I sincerely appreciate His concern. 

 

Today I also recall my concerns for our United States of America after the brief period of 13 days of Leadership of President Biden.  I quote:

 

“I just published this to the National Leaders who have been elected from/by Georgia:

The First 13 days of 46!!”

“I recall another period of 13 days from many years ago. It was the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The past 13 days while important did not measure up to the crisis of that time; however the drama and the impact on the United States of America is of great concern to me.

A bit of back ground on Alan. He served our U.S.A for 21 years and when he transferred to the U. S. Navy Fleet Reserve in December 9f 1981 he was the recipient of the “Navy Commendation Medal.”

So you may appreciate my concern.

Executive orders:

• pertaining to the cancellation of the Keystone Pipe Line which eliminated a reported 11,000 jobs

• Drilling for Oil in several key states which will also impact our Energy independence

• Allowing transgendered males to compete as females in various High School and College Sports

Operating as a Dictator via many Executive Orders! While many orders were issued, the above mentioned ones are most critical from my point of view.

Additionally, I know that if we in the U.S.A. are going to continue our Freedoms as listed in the Declaration of Independence – Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness we need to be Pro-American. Energy Independence is most critical in that regard. Yet I continue to hear that our fellow Citizens who support “Socialism” in many aspects of our lives think their concepts are proper and that those who do not agree may possibly need to be re-trained. An interesting concept, but not the concept of life in the U.S.A. which I personally defended during my 21 years of Service. Thank You!! If our President and other duly elected leaders continue on the current agenda it is even more critical that we understand the concept of “Unity” which is frequently mentioned in our Electronic Media. As I understand it “Unity” is the ability to compromise on events/laws/regulations/etc. which serve the Common Good of “We the People!” which may become a trite phrase if we continue with the current agenda which has been displayed during the recent 13 days.

The concerns I published in the early days of President Biden’s Leadership remain very much my concerns today.  Unfortunately the concerns stated above are now also as critical as then, but we all must acknowledge the facts that the global situation is very complex as I pointed out to each of You in My letter of 28 January 2022 which were summarized with this comment:
