Plantation Living

Saturday Morning, May 2nd, 2009. Twenty some residents of the Weatherby Plantation Sub-Division in West Bibb County, Georgia participated in the first Work Day of 2009 to do heavy pruning on the Azaleas.

The event was well attended and was planned for the Morning from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, with the express purpose of avoiding the Heat of the Day.

Of course someone always has to look at the Camera. Here you can quickly determine that the work crew was not limited to Males.

Once the work was done the participants cleaned up and dined on "Pig in a Pit" bar-b-que. Residents of all ages from twelve to well over seventy participated in this Spring Work Day. Life on the Plantation in 2009 is certainly a lot different than in years gone by.
