Second Sunday in the Park

What a wonderful Sunday in Washington Park for
the Concert.  I prepared a Picnic for
My Bride

The first item on the menu was Irish Soda Bread baked from
a receipe by the Barefoot Contessa.  Of course we enjoyed
appropriate beverages.



The next item we enjoyed was Watermelon and Arugula Salad.
This was another Barefoot Contessa receipe.  Next we
anticipated enjoying the Grandma's Molasses Crinkle Cooklies;
however the rains blew in and we departed the Concert and
enjoyed the Cookies later with a cup of coffee at our Home.

It was a wonderful evening and we both enjoyed the Concert and the food.  I have filed the recipies for future use.
