Greetings,
Please be confident that I posted this letter
prior to 7:00 P.M. this date.
Alan was a Happy
Baby. As an Adult he remains Happy!!
Alan Served in the U. S.
Navy for 21 Years and continues the Proud Legacy of a Retired Sailor. Alan was presented the Navy Commendation
Medal when He was transferred to the U. S. Navy Fleet Reserve!
As a Retiree Alan continued to Serve His fellow
Citizens as a Volunteer in a plethora of activities focused on our Young
Citizens. For many years he enjoyed
coaching Youth Soccer Programs in Bibb County, Georgia.
As a Voter in Georgia since January 1982 I have
always researched the respective Candidates and made My choices. As I prepared for the 5 January 2021 Georgia
U. S. Senate Run-Off, I like my fellow citizens received many mail out pieces
as well as an abundance of opportunity to learn of the four candidates from
many Electronic Media Presentations.
Though Out all my research for this day I was guided by these two Rules
which I hold very dear. Now to be clear,
I also hold the other eight very dear also, however these two were the basic
rules which helped me in making my choices.
“Thou shalt not kill.” King James Version of Holy Scripture - Exodus
20 verse 13.
and
“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy
neighbor.” King James Version of Holy
Scripture – Exodus Chapter 20 verse 16.
As a young Scholar in a one room county school I
learned this about My Rights: “….that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness -…..” Please note:
I copied this from our “Declaration of Independence” which was signed on
4 July 1976.
Therefore I have voted today, 5 January 2021 and
send you this letter along with a sample of the plethora of campaign literature
that the U. S. Postal Service delivered to my Home during the last five weeks.
In Conclusion it is My Prayer today, as every
other day, “That God Continue to Bless America!”
