2021 Iowa Holiday
(Continued)
We also visited other States
7 September - Day Seven. Prior to leaving My Sister's Country Home we conducted a brief walk around to check if we had inflicted any damage. While we were checking we did observe the corner of the Bedroom Suite and I posed for this candid shot
We were Tourist the rest of Day Seven and checked out Northeast Iowa!!
8 September - Day Eight. We checked out and prepared to travel to the City Home of My Cousin in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. We also checked the surroundings of My Sister's Country Home.
The balance of the day was spent traveling. We did take a break in a small Minnesota Town for a delightful Lunch and a relaxing evening at My Cousin's Town Home!!
9 September - Day Nine. We were Tourist in Stillwater, Minnesota and Hudson, Wisconsin.
10 September - Day Ten. We visited Historic Fort Snelling Cemetery, which was an emotional experience as our Nation was preparing the 20th Anniversary of 9-11.
That evening we Dined at Maynards's Restaurant on a Minnesota Lake. We were joined by another Cousin and Her Spouse. Here is a picture I obtained on the World Wide Web from this establishment, which was a fun place to enjoy great Food and Drinks.
11 September 11 - Day Eleven. We traveled to the Minnesota Botanical Gardens and enjoyed the scene and structures.
On one of these days we visited the Local Community Theatre and the areas outside.
We concluded the day watching the Iowa Hawkeye Football Team win over the Iowa State Cyclones 17 - 17.
12 September - Day Twelve. This was a Sunday and we attended Saint Michael's Lutheran Church with My Cousin.
During our stay with My cousin prepared many delightful meals. This Sunday afternoon he grilled Hamburgers with all the fixings. Our other Twin Cities Cousin and Her Husband joined with us and we participated in outdoor games. No one kept a record of who won!
My Bride and I posed for this picture and she resumed her Official Duties.
My Bride was the Duty Photographer for this event however she also played. Note the "Viking" color on the board! If I recall correctly the board at the other end was green for a neighboring Wisconsin Team!
