Angel Trumpet Flowers
On September 12 you were able to view the Flower Child modeling the lovely Angel Trumpet Plants that abound in the Gardens at his West Bibb County Home. He also stated that the blooms should be present in 7 to 10 days. Here it is, eight days later and you can see the plethora of Blooms. Lovely Flowers, but difficult to obtain an award winning image because the blooms are large and hang down. Their beauty and the fragrance make them keepers. You can be sure that these Angel Trumpet Plants and Flowers will always have a home in the Garden of The Flower Child. One close-up of two blooms. Please note the long green pods that will also soon become blossoms. This one plant has about 25 blooms and bloom pods. The other nine plants in the Garden will be blooming soon. On a cool, damp morning the great fragrance can be present fifty feet away from the plants.
I have three blogs which I publish here. One is entitled "The World This Week". For the Blog entitled "The World This Week" I am known as the Flower Child. With such a title I am able to express my views and share my concerns on a wide variety of topics.
The other Blog is entitled "Gardening Tidbits" where I share my limited knowledge about flowering plants and shrubs that grow in the Gardens of my West Bibb County, Georgia Home. I have enjoyed the Hobby of Gardening working with flowers and shrubs here in Macon, Georgia. My purpose with this Blog is to share what knowledge I have learned through trial and error. Additionally I desire to share my love of plants and invite everyone to participate by sharing their comments to my post. We here in Georgia have a great heritage of sharing the beautiful things that grow in abundance around us.
I have just commenced the third Blog entitled: Young Iowa Tractor Boys, which I am sure you will also enjoy.
