Jeremiah and Judea

During yesterday's Worship Service I learned about the Prophet Jeremiah and his difficulties with the people of Judea. His job was to warn the people of Judah of the impending perils. He was down trodden, but he also realized that the future could be better and in the 13th verse of Chapter 20 he declares this message which was of great benefit to me:

"Sing to the Lord,

praise the Lord!

For he has delivered the life of the needy

from the hand of evildoers."

A most comforting passage to be certain.
