During a recent trip to the State of My Birth I visited the Iowa State House.  I found this quote above the entrance to the Law Library.

I looked up famous quotes by William Pitt and ascertained that this is only a part of the quote which I publish here:

“Unlimited power is apt to corrupt the minds of those who possess it; and this I know, my lords, that where laws end, tyranny begins”

As I observe the evening news and see how our National Elected Leader and some in the U. S. Congress avoid the Laws of our Land I could not help but think of this quote.

Where are we as a Nation Going?
