Two Children explore the view of Macon, Georgia at Historic Fort Hawkins, which is the birthplace of Macon, Georgia. This fort was named after Col Ben Hawkins who was in charge of this area in the early 1800s.
Here you view Col Ben Hawkins as he introduces the Declaration of Independence which he also read. An enjoyable day in Macon, Georgia and also an excellent opportunity to learn History.
