Macon, Georgia

Gateway Park

What a delightful evening for a concert/jazz session. The evening was cool and the music was terrific.

The Gateway Park in downtown Macon, Georgia was the perfect setting for this evening of relaxing music. Even though there was a slight drizzle, the event was well attended and everyone appeared to be enjoying the music.

No report of an event at the Gateway park would be complete without a photograph of Macon Georgia's Otis Redding we was also performing.

Molly Stevens and her friend John Michael Phillips entertained us with a few vocals. You will also note that "The Telegraph" had a photojournalist on the scene.

A wonderful evening will be repeated the next two Sunday evenings with different performers. Mark October 11 and October 18th on your schedules and attend these concerts which feature local talent. The City of Macon, Parks and Recreation department sponsor these events. Thank You!!!
