Macon Bacon

My Bride and I enjoy the Macon Bacon Baseball Games and this year we purchased Two Five Game Plans which include all you can eat.
The first game we attended was on 2 June. Once inside the gate we were greeted by a Macon Bacon Player who handed us a program.
He was Logan Wash who attends South Alabama who is a Left Handed Pitcher. He had played on 1 June so we would not see him in action. I had him sign my program so when he became famous I would have his autograph.
A Group from Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, Georgia sang the National Anthem.
During the course of the game it was announced that the Jerseys worn by the Players would be auctioned off. I went to the proper table to Bid on a Large Size Jersey. It turned out to be Number 22 and the Jersey was the one worn by Logan.
This Team is part of the Coastal Plain League and is very civic minded. One of the Sponsors, Tractor Supply donates 200 pounds of Dog and Cat Food to All About Animals for each Stolen Base. On 2 June 1000 pounds was donated!
After the Game I went to see the players and the first player met was Logan. We chatted and I wished him well in his Career.
A few days later I received a phone call informing me that I had won the Bid and that I should pick up the Jersey.
We enjoy the Macon Bacon Games because the food is great and the entertainment between innings is "Family Friendly!" Fun for the Kids and even us Mature Citizens. Following are pictures of Myself wearing the Jersey and a photo of the Program that Logan gave us!
We are looking forward to attending more games and several include a terrific Fire Works show as we also enjoyed at the end of the 2 June 2023 Game!!!
