The 2023 Observance had the most attendees that I have seen in the years I attended this event.  What made this observance special is that many 4-H Club members participated by Handing Out Programs and also giving each Veteran a neat "Thank You" Note signed by Bibb County 4-H.  

The Program started with a prayer by Mr. Manuel Jackson, Sr. a Pleasant Hill Resident!

The Presentation of Colors was conducted by Members of the Bibb County Sheriff's Office and the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department!

The National Anthem was performed by Ny-Kerria Battle, Bibb County 4-H Club Member!  Shown here with the microphone!

The Speaker was introduced by Yolandra Latimore Macon Cemetery Preservation Corporation Board President!

The Speaker for this Observance was Ms. Nicole Persley, Great Niece of Architect Louis H. Persley/Artist/Realtor!

The Placing of the Wreath was conducted by 1st Sergeant Wilmer Smith and Sergeant First Class Jimmy Orange of Charlie Company 148th!

TAPs was played with two players with an echo effect.  Very Moving!
