Middle Georgia
Challenge

The Rose Park Labyrinth at the Intersection of Orange and Columbus Streets, Macon, Georgia
If you visit Washington Park and stand in the Southwest corner and look South you can view this door decor at the Washington Library. This is at the Intersection of Washington Avenue and College Street.
Remember Flower Child's mantra, look around you as you travel through downtown Macon. Better still, take the time to walk and enjoy.

Flower Child's Comments regarding the Middle Georgia Challenge. Anyone who enjoys bricks will love to visit the patterned Brick Image which is at Rose Park. This Park is just East of Mount de Sales Academy in Macon. Rose Park also overlooks the vast Medical Center of Georgia Health Care Complex.

The iron work on the Washington Library on College Street is impressive. The Middle Georgia Challenge featured an image that was closely cropped to just show the iron work on the balcony on the North Side of the Library. The Flower Child has memories of using this door to enter the Library way back in the early 70s. The expansion of the Library changed the facade.

Summary: As I stated in this Blog entry, sometimes it is nice to get out of the vehicle and walk around a bit. Admittedly, us older folks may want to do this on cooler days, an event that has not happened much here in August 2007.

Be prepared for the next Middle Georgia Challenge. Meanwhile the Flower Child is saving his money. No one entered this challenge, thus no one won the free dinner for up to two individuals.
