Flowering Dogwood

The Scientific Name for this lovely looking tree is: Cornus florida. The Flower Child has lived in Wonderful Weatherby some sixteen years and enjoys the Flowering Dogwood Trees every Spring. They produce an abundance of beauty. As the Spring flush of Tea Olive Flowers and Daphne Odera fade away the Dogwood marches smartly into providing real Spring Beauty. Although the Azaleas are just beginning to open their lovely Spring Display, the Shrub or Tree this Week is the Dogwood, or should I say "Cornus florida?"
