48th Infantry Brigade (Send off - Continued)

Everyone knows that our National Symbol, Old Glory should never touch the soil. Here you see Scholars from Covenant Academy holding up the Flag.
This display was facing Macon's City Hall and was held in place by many volunteers. In fact on the near corner you can see two members of a local talk radio show broadcast on FM 100.9 each week day morning. In the background you can view the Armory which stands on the Corner of Poplar and First Street. This building has an interesting history and was the site of many social events for Soldiers stationed near Macon at Camp Wheeler.

A view of part of the crowd that gathered in front of Macon's City Hall to salute the Warriors of the 48th Infantry Brigade.

I love that first shot of the kids under the flag! So many photographers forget that you have to MOVE YOUR FEET to get new perspectives to make interesting photos. Nice work!
