Veterans Day Appreciation Concert

Central High School, Macon, Georgia

On the evening of November 10th, 2014 My Bride and I attended this wonderful concert produced by the Scholars of Central High School as a tribute to the Veterans of our United States of America.

Each of these pictures were taken prior to or after the respective performances so as to not be a distraction.

The Central Band directed by Mr. Michael Scott performed several selections which were well done.  This Band was Excellent.

The Central Chorus directed by Mr. Isaac Gibson performed several selections; however their performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" was without equal.

The Central String Quartet performed the closing selection entitled "Ashokan Farewell.  They also performed in an excellent manner.

These three Seniors delivered the commentary.  They, as well as the Chorus and Band performers represented themselves, their Family, their School and their Community in an outstanding manner.

In addition to the organizations pictures above, the Central JROTC conducted the Presentation of Colors in a fine manner.

As but one of the Veterans in attendance, I salute this School and their Scholars who did very well.  Thank You!!  

Also a note of graditude to the the Fine Arts Coordinator at Central High School, Ms. Patricia McCall and all the others who also made this event possible.
