Preparing God's House
for 
Christmas 2013

Today, November 23, 2013 was the commencement of Gardening Activity at the Church I attend to prepare for Christmas.
The common name for this plant is "Burning Bush."  This shrub
was chosen for the reference to the Old Testament where
God called Moses to lead his People to the Promised Land.
God appeared to Moses in a bush that was afire, but it never
burned up.  Thus the name for this shrub.  It looks like it is
afire.  Every Fall the leaves turn a wonderful red color.

the pruning of the shrubs this morning.
