I have fond memories of a time in My Navy Career when the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CVA-61) was operating with a Carrier from the British Navy. Ranger and the British Carrier were on the same team during a "War Game" fighting a battle against another U. S. Navy Carrier and the British Carrier terminated launching aircraft at 4:00 P.M. when the war game called for a sequencial launch of planes until a certain objective was achieved. Upon the inquiry of the U. S. Navy Admiral in Charge, the British replied that they were taking a break for Tea Time. This was a War Game and not an actual situation so they were observing their normal routine.
In the picture above you can discern the French Navy Destroyer. The French use a lighter shade of Gray Paint for their Navy vessels.
As a citizen of the United States of America I can appreciate it very much when our Military Organizations conduct operations with Foreign Nations. Team Work is vital.
