Ken Burns Visits Macon, Georgia
William Segal Gallery Opening

Mr. Ken Burns was one of three individuals who discussed the life of Mr. William Segal during a presentation at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, Georgia on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009.
Mr. Ken Burns visited Macon to assist in the opening of the William Segal Gallery Display. Ken was a personal friend of William Segal who was born in Macon, Georgia in 1904.

Of course the Flower Child captured many pictures of the gallery display and you may be confident that many will be posted here in the days to come. The sequence shown above is from the "Young Man Series" that Mr. William Segal painted.

Mr. Segal's work is known for vivid primary colors and it's simplicity. This is but one example.
