Queen's Tears
or
Friendship Plant

Billbergia nutans Queen's-Tears Bromeliaceae. I, the Flower Child continue to be amazed with this lovely looking flower. I cultivate this as a potted plant. When danger of frost is evident I move the pot into the Garage. When the pink spikes appear I bring it into the house. At this time there are two pots with a total of fifteen flowering spikes in bloom such as you view above.
Once Spring arrives I will divide, share with Gardening Friends and repeat the cycle. This plant is in a pot on the Dining Room Table. It always blooms in Mid-January for me.
Enjoy!!!!!
