Running Out Of Money

On Saturday, January 24, 2009 I posted a Blog Entry about filing my 2008 Federal and State Income taxes. One of the reasons that I filed early was that I wanted to receive my small refunds before any government ran out of money.

Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, I just heart on the Radio that the State of California is going to hold the Tax Refunds claimed by their citizens for thirty days to keep the State solvent. Sounds interesting. Maybe I was onto something when I filed early.

We are in for some interesting times and financial challenges. I certainly believe that we all can anticipate that we will face some real problems in the future.
